Back to the rings, on September of this year, Ricardo Arona beat the American Marvin Eastman, but suffered an injury while the fight. Last week, the black belt went to the surgery table and talked about the surgery on the knee talking to TATAME.
“Unfortunately, I’ve ruptured the ligament on the fight against Marvin Eastman. I’ve made the surgery last Thursday, it’s been a week now“, revealed Arona, who will have to rest for a while. “This first month is complicated and decisive... In May, I think that I’ll be free to be back to trainings and then I’ll need more three months to be ready to fight“.
In ten months, Arona wants to be back to rings. “I think that in September I most be back... I want to feel that taste again, that feeling, adrenalin, that things happens, I’m optimist to be back stronger“, guarantee the athlete, who will start the physiotherapy on next week. “I’ll dedicate myself to my recovering“.

Na volta aos ringues, que aconteceu em setembro deste ano, Ricardo Arona venceu o americano Marvin Eastman, mas acabou sofrendo uma lesão durante a luta. Na semana passada, o faixa-preta foi para a mesa de cirurgia, e comentou a operação no joelho em conversa com a TATAME.
“Infelizmente, rompi o ligamento cruzado anterior na minha luta contra o Marvin Eastman. Operei na quinta-feira passada, hoje fez uma semana”, revelou Arona, que terá que ficar bastante tempo de molho. “Esse primeiro mês é complicado e decisivo... Em maio, acredito que vou estar liberado para voltar aos treinamentos e, depois, precisarei de mais três meses para ficar pronto para lutar”.
Daqui a dez meses, então, Arona espera voltar aos ringues. “Acredito que em setembro devo estar voltando... Quero sentir esse gostinho de novo, aquela sensação, adrenalina, essas coisas acontecem, e estou otimista para voltar mais forte”, garante o atleta, que começará a fisioterapia na próxima semana. “Vou me dedicar à minha recuperação”.
