Ninja celebrates another victory in Brazil

Fight in Brazil brings good luck to Murilo “Ninja” Rua. Getting on the octagon for the seventh time last Saturday (12) at Bitetti Combat 5, he’s still unbeatable after the TKO victory over Jason Jones. After the victory, Ninja talked to TATAME.com about the second knockout  in a row.

“Thanks God I could put my game on… The strategy was to take him down as soon as possible to avoid his stand up game. He was a tough guy, with a lot of will, but I finished the fight quickly”, celebrates Ninja.

Expecting to be back to international MMA on the beginning of 2010, Ninja talked about the fight marathon around the world. “I will fight in Japan in February and then I’ll fight in March on the US. I want to be back with the right foot, to give good shows. My goal is to have five victories in a row”, finished.

Ninja vibra com a vitória no Bitetti Combat

O amuleto de Murilo “Ninja” é lutar no Brasil. Entrando no ringue pela sétima vez no último sábado (12), no Bitetti Combat 5, o curitibano continua invicto, após bater o holandês Jason Jones por nocaute técnico. Após a vitória, Ninja conversou com a TATAME sobre o segundo nocaute consecutivo.

“Graças a Deus consegui impor o meu jogo... A estratégia era botar pra baixo e levar pro chão o mais rápido possível, e consegui evitar o jogo dele. Ele era um cara duro, tem muita vontade, mas tive a felicidade e acabar a luta rápido”, comemora Ninja, sem dar atenção às reclamações do gringo. “Ele não estava reagindo e o juiz interrompeu a luta certo”.

Esperando voltar ao MMA internacional no primeiro trimestre de 2010, Ninja prevê uma maratona de lutas em todos os cantos do mundo. “Devo lutar no Japão, em fevereiro, e depois luto em março nos Estados Unidos. Quero voltar com o pé direito, dar bons espetáculos. Minha meta é conquistar cinco vitórias seguidas”, finalizou.
