Winning for the third time in the UFC, Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares finished the fight against Lúcio Linhares with his favorite move: attacking the foot. “The fight was good, I won, what’s most important”, Rousimar celebrates, on United States, talking to TATAME.com by phone.
Back to the octagon after suffering two injuries, one on the hand and the other on the foot, the middleweight celebrates to be back with a great performance. “I have nothing to complain. Besides everything, I won… But I know I can do even better”, promises.
Leader of Brazilian Top Team, Murilo Bustamante was on the black belt’s corner and got more than satisfied with the submission victory. “Linhares was very good on the ground... He’ll be a tough guy on the UFC”, bets Murilo.

Toquinho: “Posso fazer ainda melhor”

Vencendo pela terceira vez no UFC, Rousimar “Toquinho” terminou a luta contra Lúcio Linhares na sua especialidade: atacando o pé. “A luta foi boa, ganhei, o que é o mais importante”, comemora Toquinho, ainda nos Estados Unidos, em conversa com a TATAME por telefone.
Voltando aos ringues depois de sofrer duas lesões, uma na mão e outra no pé, o mineiro comemora a volta em grande estilo. “Não tenho nada a reclamar. Apesar de tudo, consegui a vitória... Eu posso fazer ainda melhor”, promete. Líder da Brazilian Top Team, Murilo Bustamante estava no corner do faixa-preta no UFC e ficou mais que satisfeito com a finalização.
“O Linhares valorizou a vitória dele, foi muito bem no chão... Ele vai dar muito trabalho no UFC”, aposta Murilo, elogiando a performance do faixa-preta da Alliance.
