Jiu-Jitsu’s world champion in every belts, Michael Langhi, 24, doesn’t consider himself a phenomenon, besides to have been on the highest place of the podium in all competitions that he participated in 2009.
Chosen the highlight of the year, Langhi told his history on December’s X-Ray of TATAME Magazine, that’s in all the newsstands of Brazil
“I think that’s natural today, even because MMA gives much more money than Jiu-Jitsu. I don’t think different, I have this will, I always watch UFC on weekend and I’d like to feel that adrenaline”, Michael told, saying that his priority is still Jiu-Jitsu. “I think that’s not my moment yet, I still have a lot to show on Jiu-Jitsu and Submission, but in the future would be nice”.

Campeão mundial de Jiu-Jitsu em todas as faixas, Michael Langhi, de apenas 24 anos, não se considera um fenômeno, apesar de ter subido ao lugar mais alto do pódio em todas as competições que entrou em 2009.
Eleito o destaque do ano, Langhi contou sua história no Raio-X da Revista TATAME de dezembro, que está nas bancas de todo o Brasil. Ex-capoeirista e amigo - e fã - de Rubens Charles “Cobrinha”, o faixa-preta falou sobre o começo nos tatames, a relação com Fernando Tererê e revelou o interesse em seguir o caminho do MMA.
“Acho que isso é uma coisa natural hoje, até pela parte financeira do MMA ser bem mais rentável que o Jiu-Jitsu. Eu não penso diferente, tenho essa vontade, sempre assisto o UFC no final de semana e gostaria muito de sentir aquela adrenalina”, contou Michael, deixando claro que sua prioridade ainda é o Jiu-Jitsu. “Acho que não é o momento ainda, ainda tenho muito a mostrar no Jiu-Jitsu e no Submission, mas no futuro acho que seria legal”.
