Several websites around the world reported at the beginning of the week that Thiago Silva would face Ryan Bader on UFC 116. TATAME.com called Silva today, but the tough guy from American Top Team denied the bout.
According to the reports, the Brazillian would have published on his Facebook that his next opponent would be Ryan, TUF champion. “I don’t even have a Facebook account, someone is doing that for me. I’m not fighting Ryan Bader, UFC hasn’t said anything. I talked to my new manager today, Dan Lambert, and he’s trying to get this off the web”, told Silva.
As for his return to the octagon, Thiago still doesn’t know who he will confront, but soon he must have an answer. “There’s nothings settled. UFC called my manager wondering if I could fight on July, I’m ready, but they didn’t said who I’m fighting against”, tells Thiago, warning that every single profile with his name in the web is fake.
“It’s all fake, I don’t use these things. I only have my own website. There’s it, exactly because it can cause you a lot of problems, this kinds of unnecessary headache”, complains the fighter. Stay tuned on TATAME to know more about Thiago’s comeback to UFC.

Diversos sites ao redor do mundo publicaram, no início da semana, que Thiago Silva enfrentaria o americano Ryan Bader no UFC 116 (relembre aqui). Procurado pela TATAME, porém, o casca-grossa da American Top Team negou o confronto.
Segundo os sites americanos, o brasileiro teria publicado em seu Facebook que seu próximo adversário seria Ryan, campeão do reality show do UFC. “Nem tenho Facebook, alguém está fazendo isso por mim. Eu não vou lutar com o Ryan Bader, o UFC não falou nada. Falei hoje com o Dan Lambert, meu novo empresário, e ele está tentando tirar isso do ar”, contou Thiago.
Quanto ao retorno ao octagon, Thiago não sabe contra quem será, mas deve acontecer em breve. “Não tem nada decidido. O UFC ligou para o meu empresário perguntando se eu poderia lutar em julho, eu estou pronto, mas não divulgaram o atleta”, conta Thiago, avisando que todos os perfis com seu nome nos sites de relacionamento são falsos.
“É tudo falso, não tenho nada. Eu só tenho o meu site, que está ficando pronto, só falta uns ajustes. Vai ser um website bem maneiro. Eu só tenho isso, justamente porque isso dá muito problema, fica dando essas dores de cabeça desnecessárias”, reclama o casca-grossa.
