Garantindo duas vitórias por nocaute no Affliction, Rogério “Minotouro” e Vitor Belfort eram só festa nos bastidores do evento, após as lutas. Como não poderia faltar, Marcus Vinícius di Lucia, parceiro da TATAME, estava presente para conversar com os casca-grossas, que comentaram a felicidade pelos bons nocautes em entrevistas exclusivas à TATAME TV.
Conquistando sua segunda vitória no Affliction, ambas por nocaute, Rogério “Minotouro” conseguiu, de quebra, vingar a primeira derrota de sua carreira, contra Vladimir Matyushenko. “Essa era uma luta que eu queria tinha perdido pra ele há sete anos e tinha certeza que poderia ganhar, me superar”, comemora Minotouro. Atropelando Matt Lindland em apenas 37 segundos, Belfort não conseguia esconder a satisfação pela atuação impressionante. “Estamos de volta, graças a Deus. Foi uma luta maravilhosa. Treinamos duro e estávamos esperando por isso”, comemora Vitor.
