At TATAME Magazine’s May issue, we’ve talked with Wanderlei Silva in an unforgettable chat, in which the fighter, among other things, invited his ex-rivals Ricardo Arona and Paulo Filho to join his team in Las Vegas. After Paulão Filho say that he accepts Wand’s invitation, we went after Arona, who already faced Wanderlei twice in Pride, to know what did the fighter thought about the invitation.
"Look, it’s something surprising to me and to all who accompanies the fights long ago, but I have nothing against him, we are professional now, but this call, at the moment, I don’t need. I’ll refuse this invitation, for a while. I appreciate the invitation, but it isn’t what I need now”, said Arona. "But the future we never know, if tomorrow will have a union… It may happen some day... What is happening today, of us praising each other, no one expected before, then anything can happen. I appreciate, but it isn’t what I have as a goal", concluded Arona.
