Few martial arts developed as the Jiu-Jitsu. If the sport was already in an impressive dynamic evolution since the national explosion in the 80s, from 1996, when Carlinhos Gracie created the world cup and the modality began to be practiced in all corners of the planet, the technical possibilities have multiplied. Every year someone came with something new. Half-guard, gogoplata, lapel choke, X guard, raspagens de omoplata, 50-50 guard, brabo choke, and so on. The news are so much that, in a natural comparison between champions of different generations, the youngest, who had access to a wider range of techniques, would theoretically have advantage. Right? Not necessarily. At least that is what Roger Gracie is proving.

Devoted in the last World Cup as the biggest competitor in the history of soft art - its eight world titles (six in weight and two in open class) - Roger is, actually, the biggest bastion of efficiency of the good old beans with rice.
