Stephens welcomes Ronnys Torres at UFC

Recovered from the knee injury, Ronnys Torres told TATAME.com that he would debut in the UFC on September 16, at UFC Fight Night 19. Now, the Nova União athlete already has an opponent for his first fight in the American octagon. With 14 victories in 15 fights in his career, the fighter will face Jeremy Stephens, who won three out of seven fights that made at the event, including a knockout victory over Rafael dos Anjos.

And Ronnys is excited to shine at the international stages. "The recovery was great. Runco said that I would return to train in five, six months, but I was getting crazy. I did the recovery with the Upper physiotherapists and one that Ability sent here every day, everything was very fast. So, we called the UFC and marked the fight... Regardless of whom it will be, I’ll be 100% ready to make a great fight", he said, before the confirmation of his opponent.
