Santana: “There are no favorites at ADCC”

Champion of Brazilian selective to ADCC 2009, Murilo Santana is anxious to go to Barcelona and fight on the Submission Grappling tournament. “I prepared myself the most, I tried to do everything right to get good and give the best of me there. I think I can make a good preparation and now is to go there and do the nice part”, said the tough guy, talking with TATAME.com.

Looking for the title at the 77kg category, Murilo knows he’ll face tough guys ahead. “Honestly, I think everyone there will be tough, all fights will be finals and my focus is to do the best on each fight, whoever it is”, says, without give privileges to Marcelo Garcia, champion of the category in 2007. “I think that Marcelinho is who did most on this category, it’s a guy who deserves a lot of respect and admiration, but I think that there there’s no favorite”, completed.
