Without fighting in United States for 16 months, the heavyweight Antônio “Bigfoot” Silva will be back to American stages on November 7 against Fabrício Werdum. Training hard at American Top Team, Silva spoke with TATAME.com about the preparation and the expectation to the fight. “I want my space among the best and to be between the best I gotta pass trough him. I’ll respect Werdum before and after the fight, but I’ll get in the cage for the knockout or submission”, Silva said, commenting Fedor Emelianenko’s debut against Brett Rogers and the Machida-Shogun decision at UFC 104.
