Undefeated after two MMA fights, Ronny Markes will have a tough challenge ahead next Sunday (25). Training in Netherlands with fighters as Peter Aerts, Melvin Manhoef and Badr Hari, last K-1 champion. Against the former Rings and K-1 veteran, Michael Knaap, who faced guys like Alistair Overeem and Cheick Kongo, the Brazilian is excited.
“He has 41 fights and he fought with great guys on MMA, knocked out the Russian that defeated Pedro Rizzo at Pride, made an extremely tough fight with Vitor Vianna... He deserves all my respect, but I’ll get in there to do my work “,Ronny said. “I expect to submit, if God wants. We preview a good fight“.
Excited about the trains on Top Team Beverwijk, team that named the event, Ronny expects a long relationship. “I hope that partnership between the school and Kimura lastes for a long time. Our train partners here fought a lot in Japan and they’re idols there“, finished the Brazilian, ready to face Semmy Schilt’s sparring.
