Former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion, Vitor Belfort was scheduled to face Anderson Silva for the middleweight title, but a shoulder injury, first reported by TATAME.com last month, forced the promoters to call Demian Maia to replace Belfort. According to his manager, days after the surgery, Vitor would have to stay five to eight months away from the training, but “the Phenom” announced today in his twitter that the recovery is going well. “I am starting my rehab and the doctor said that my shoulder is going to be a much faster recover then we thought… I will be back very soon”, wrote Belfort.
