UFC light heavyweight champion, Lyoto Machida usually trains with Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira at Black House gym in the US. But the karate fighter wasn’t happy at all with the UFC 110 main event, between Nogueira and the undefeated Cain Velasquez.
“Unfortunately, it wasn’t his day. Cain is very well and hit it in the spot. MMA is like that, you can win or lose in seconds. I was very sad with Minotauro’s loss, because I know he worked hard to this fight,” Machida said in his twitter. “But I liked Wanderlei (Silva’s) fight, always in his aggressive style, fighting forward. He won and he deserved it”.
