Em setembro deste ano, nomes como Marcelinho Garcia, Robert Drysdale e Roger Garcia, além dos campeões da seletiva no Brasil, se encaminharão para Barcelona, na Espanha, para o maior torneio de Submission do mundo. Após a definição da cidade, a organização do campeonato já escolheu o ginásio que receberá as lutas.
