Getting the second place at the World Professional Championship of Jiu-Jitsu, which happened in Abu Dhabi, the black belt Victor Estima expects to turn things around in the BJJ Worlds 2009, which starts today in California. In conversation with TATAME.com, the fighter revealed that is excited... And goes to be champion. "I did my job, now I just have to conclude", says Victor, knowing that he won’t have easy job on the way.
"For the first time I’m fighting in the welterweight category. It has several tough guys such as Tarsis Humphreys, Eduardo Santoro, Gregor, Rômulo Barral, Otávio de Souza... It only has beasts. But, when the time comes, no one is favorite. When it hits the hand in the middle of the mat, it’s only us both, and who is better prepared will win”, said Bráulio Estima’s brother, praising the preparation for the tournament. "The preparation is very well, continuing from the Pan and Abu Dhabi. My brother and I are in a very good job, also with Roger (Gracie)... I think there’s no training better than this (laughs)”, finished the fighter
