Watch Ninja’s knockout victory over Stiebling

Murilo “Ninja” was called to fight Alex Stiebling one week before the event, and just needed 45 second to end the bout. Without fighting at the light heavyweight division since 2006, Rua dropped the “Brazilian Killer” with a huge head kick and finished the fight with punches on the ground. “It’s my return to Brazil, I didn’t fight here for nine years, and thanks God I got the victory. I’m very happy, and I hope to be back soon”, said Rua.

After a fight in Japan and this in Brazil, “Ninja” can be back to an American event. “I have two fights in Japan, but before this fight an event in the USA made contact with us and we’re negotiating”, revealed the Brazilian, commenting the preparation for the fight. “I was well trained, because I’m helping my brother for his fight against Lyoto Machida. He’s very prepared for this fight… Lyoto is a tough guy, but I always believed in my brother, he’s the number one in his weight.
