Um dos líderes da equipe Nova União, Wendell Alexander iniciou uma temporada de seminários na Europa e no Brasil. O faixa-preta começou a maratona na Finlândia, na cidade de Jyuaskyla, onde atuou com Sami Markmanen (que estava na organização do ADCC, em Barcelona). Depois, rumou para Hanko, com Joalkim Bergman, e, na ultima semana, esteve em Tampere, com Henri Prinz, que também estava na organização do ADCC. De volta ao Brasil na primeira semana de novembro, o professor de Leonardo Santos e Wagnney Fabiano, entre outros grandes talentos da equipe, inicia os seminários na região do Piauí, nos eventos organizados pelo faixa-preta Kylson Mota. De volta ao Rio após as viagens, Dell comanda a preparação dos alunos para os campeonatos que acontecem até o fim do ano.
