In interview to Fight website, the guitar man made a fun analyze about the event and the combat between Brazilians. “There was some good preliminaries. I liked that guy that was facing “The Dragon”. I think his rhythm was terrible. I think that, if that fight happened on a bar, it had been great”, analyzed, talking about the judges’ decision. “The fight that I saw haven’t that score, because “The Dragon” (Lyoto) didn’t won”, said.

Faixa-preta de Ukidokan Caratê e Taekwondo, o casca-grossa das guitarras costuma aproveitar o intervalo entre as turnês para acompanhar os grandes eventos de MMA. Em 2009, um dos principais que o guitarrista assistiu foi o UFC 104, que teve o polêmico duelo entre Lyoto Machida e Maurício Shogun. Em entrevista ao site Fight, o guitarrista fez uma divertida análise sobre o evento e o combate entre brasileiros.
“Tiveram umas preliminares que foram muito boas. Eu gostei daquele cara que estava enfrentando o “The Dragon”. Acho que o ritmo da luta foi terrível. Eu acho que, se essa luta tivesse acontecido num bar, teria sido ótima”, analisou, comentando a decisão dos juízes. “A luta que eu vi não teve aquele placar que foi apresentado, porque o “The Dragon” (Lyoto) não venceu”, disse.
