Couture eager to see Fedor vs Werdum

While Fedor Emelianenko is considered one of the best fighters of all time, the Russian has been questioned by many in the fighting world because he is not fighting against athletes tops.
Fedor is the M-1 Global, has a contract with Strikeforce, and never reached an agreement with the UFC, the largest MMA event in the world. Ex-champion of the Ultimate Randy Couture recently stated in an interview with Prime MMA would like to see the heavyweight fighters are tested against the best.
"I think he has to take a step forward and turn to face the best athletes of today. Do not know what is happening to him, "said Couture, who believes that the fight against Fabricio Werdum can be the first step.

Apesar de Fedor Emelianenko ser considerado um dos melhores lutadores de todos os tempos, o russo vem sendo questionado por muitos no mundo da luta por não estar lutando contra atletas “tops”.
Fedor representa a M-1 Global, tem contrato com o Strikeforce, e nunca chegou a um acordo com o UFC, maior evento de MMA do mundo. Ex-campeão do Ultimate, Randy Couture declarou recentemente em uma entrevista ao MMA Prime que gostaria de ver o peso pesado se testando contra lutadores melhores.
“Eu acho que ele tem que dar um passo a frente e voltar a enfrentar os melhores atletas da atualidade. Não sei o que está acontecendo com ele”, comentou Couture, que acredita que a luta contra Fabrício Werdum pode ser o primeiro passo.
