Despite the optimistic forecasts of Eduardo Alonso and Murilo Ninja, the light heavyweight champion of UFC, Maurício Shogun shall not return to the American octagon this year. In a press conference which happened last week, the UFC president Dana White said that the knee surgery of the champion was a success, but that his comeback is not defined yet. “Shogun is doing great, his knee is fine. He’ll probably won’t until March”, revealed.

Apesar das previsões otimistas de Eduardo Alonso e Murilo Ninja, o campeão meio-pesado do UFC Maurício Shogun não deve voltar ao octagon americano este ano. Em entrevista coletiva realizada na noite de ontem, o presidente do UFC, Dana White, afirmou que a nova cirurgia no joelho do campeão foi um sucesso, mas que o retorno segue indefinido. “O Shogun está ótimo, seu joelho está muito bem. Ele provavelmente não luta até o março”, revelou.
