Jacaré: "I'm a better athlete each day"

"I'm training on X-Gym for a year and a half and I'm becoming a better athlete each day that passes". That is the thought that the black-belt Ronaldo Jacaré has in mind while he is on his way to Trikeforce's belt dispute, which happens next Saturday (21) against the American Tim Kenedy. On an interview given to Karyn Bryant, Jacaré revealed he does not expect to have an easy time on the ground game, besides his great professional record on ADCC and Jiu-Jitsu.

“Everybody can fight anywhere, it's MMA, things changed. I'm sure he has a great ground game and that he can confront me on that area”, said Ronaldo, guaranteeing a good trade of punches. "Is he a good boxer? Let's see... I'm ready to do the stand-up fight, to dispute on Wrestling and to fight on the ground", guaranteed. É com esse pensamento que o faixa-preta Ronaldo Jacaré chega para sua disputa de cinturão no Strikeforce, que acontece neste sábado (21) contra o americano Tim Kenedy. Em entrevista à repórter Karyn Bryant, parceira da TATAME nos Estados Unidos, Jacaré revelou que não espera ter vida tão fácil no chão, apesar do currículo vitorioso no ADCC e Jiu-Jitsu. “Todo mundo pode lutar em qualquer lugar, é MMA, as coisas mudaram. Tenho certeza que ele tem um chão muito bom e que consegue lutar no chão comigo”, disse Ronaldo, garantindo uma boa trocação. “Ele é um bom pugilista? Vamos ver... Estou pronto para lutar em pé, disputar no Wrestling, lutar no chão”, garante.
