Depois de garantir o título no Brasileiro de Equipes, agora foi a vez de a Nova União ficar em primeiro numa grande competição internacional. No último fim de semana, o time levou a melhor no Europeu de Jiu-Jitsu da CBJJE, que aconteceu em Morges, na Suíça, com 212 pontos. “Uh, uh, Nova União”, comemoravam Robson Dantas e Jair Lourenço, dois representantes da equipe presentes no local.
“É a revolução da Nova União depois que voltamos a investir no jiu-jitsu. Vencemos no Brasileiro de Equipes, agora no Europeu e, aos poucos, recuperamos a nossa tradição. Entramos com aproximadamente 50 atletas e conseguimos muitas vitórias”, comentou Robinho.
Em segundo lugar ficou a equipe polonesa Berserker´s (90 pontos), que impressionou a todos com vitórias em diversas categorias e em todas as graduações. Na terceira colocação ficou a BTT Europa (84 pontos) e em quarto o time de Mario Sukata (66 pontos), seguido pela Gracie Barra Itália (60 pontos).
