“Pé de Pano” ready for 2009’s ADCC

Two times BJJ World Openweight champion, Marcio “Pé de Pano” Cruz flies to Barcelona, Spain, next Wednesday (23), to fight at ADCC 2009. Veteran of the submission grappling biggest event of the world, fighting in four editions, his best result was in 2003, when he won the title at the weight, besides fourth position on the openweight. In 2001 and 2007, Marcio got the bronze medal, but he was out of podium in the next edition, injured before the fight for the bronze medal.

Living in the USA since July, “Pé de Pano” is coming from a victory over Tommy Sauer, in the MMA event Art of Fighting 4, and finished his preparation on his gym in Tampa, Flórida. “My expectations are the best, I’m going to win the weight and the openweight“, confirmed Roberto Gordo Corrêa’s athlete.
