Ruslan Karaev x Badr Hari
Ruslan Karaev: is a talented athlete, had a great moment at the beginning of the career on K-1. Passed thru a phase, when he was knock out some fights in a row, and was out of the rings for a while to recover his self esteem. He’s back to the tops.
Badr Hari: is an athlete that may be the big revelation of K-1 on the last two years. He’s getting important results. He’s emotionally unbalanced, that cost the title of the finals of the GP 2008, when he punched and kicked Remy Bonjasky.
Favoritism: both athletes have great level, but Badr Hari hás a better timing to enter blows, more physical power. He’s not strategist, Hari goes for it and giver all of him, he comes as favorite on this quarter finals.
Alistair Overeem x Ewerton Teixeira
Alistar Overeem: he’s an athlete that fights Muay Thai for many years inHolland
Ewerton Teixeira: is our only representative. He grew fast last year, on his first year of K-1 assured his spot on the GP finals. This year he showed regularity and assured once again his spot on 2009 GP.
Favoritism: the Brazilian is growing, but He Will get a though Guy, because Overeem has a punch and a Power bigger than Everton’s. The Brazilian has a faster kick and there’s some balance on the speed. The Dutch comes with favoritism to this fight.
Jerome Le Banner x Semmy Schilt
Jerome Le Banner: he’s considered the king without a crown. It’s part of K-1’s history, he was almost champion twice. He’s standing almost every year on the finals of the GP. It’s not the same fighter anymore; he lost speed and self confidence that he used to have.
Semmy Schilt: he’s married with a Brazilian and he was the big name of K-1 on 2005, 2006 and 2007, when he was champion for the third time in a row. An athlete have never done that. He showed that he knows how to use his size of 6,95 foot , and that’s harder to his opponents. On the last year, Peter Aerts took the spot of Schilt, and there’s a big expectation about his performance on the finals.
Favoritism: Banner has the better punch and physical strength, but Schilt has better kick and knees. By the historical of Semmy Schilt, He gets in as favorite to this combat.
Errol Zimmerman x Remy Bonjasky
Errol Zimmerman: is n athlete that has been in a lot of Muay Thai competitions in Holland
Remy Bonjasky: he’s now the Champion of K-1 GP. Maybe he’s the most strategist athlete of K-1, he always plays on opponent’s mistake. On the last year he faked an injury on a indiscipline of Badr Hari to become the champion.
Favoritism: both athletes have a looked like game, physical strength, punch, moves... Errol’s speed is a little better, and the kick and the strategy of Bonjasky are better. Bonjasky enters as favorite to this fight.

O dia 5 de dezembro é o mais aguardado pelos fãs do K-1. Prometendo um verdadeiro show de trocação, O K-1 World GP realizará sua etapa final, e o Brasil será representado por Ewerton Teixeira. No aquecimento para os confrontos, convocamos Artur Mariano, especialista no assunto, para analisar cada duelo do torneio. “O diferencial das finais deste ano é que não tem um favorito para o titulo, coisa que nos últimos anos era o Semmy Schilt, até a eliminação por Peter Aerts no ano passado”, disse Artur, que comentará o evento na transmissão ao vivo do Canal Combate, na manhã de 5 de dezembro.

Ruslan Karaev: é um atleta talentoso, teve grande momento no início da carreira no K-1. Passou por uma fase, onde foi nocauteado algumas lutas seguidas, e ficou um tempo fora dos ringues para recuperar a auto estima. Voltou a figurar entre os tops.
Badr Hari: é um atleta que talvez seja a grande revelação do K-1 nesses últimos dois anos. Vem conseguindo resultados importantes. Tem problema de desequilíbrio emocional, que custou o titulo das finais do GP de 2008, onde socou e chutou Remy Bonjasky.
Favoritismo: os dois atletas têm grande nível, mas Badr Hari tem um tempo de entrada de golpes melhor, tem mais força física. Não é estrategista, Hari vai para cima e dá tudo que tem, entra como favorito nessas quartas de finais.
Alistair Overeem x Ewerton Teixeira
Alistar Overeem: é um atleta que já luta Muay Thai há muitos anos na Holanda, mas só agora vem se destacando no K-1. Conseguiu uma vitória importante contra Peter Aerts para garantir a vaga nas finais. Vem com moral.
Ewerton Teixeira: é o nosso único representante. Teve um crescimento muito rápido no ano passado, já no seu primeiro ano de K-1 já garantiu sua vaga nas finais do GP. Esse ano mostrou que tem regularidade e garantiu sua vaga mais uma vez nas finais do GP de 2009.
Favoritismo: o brasileiro vem crescendo, mas vai pegar uma pedreira, pois Overeem tem um punch e força física maiores que do Ewerton Teixeira. O brasileiro tem o chute mais rápido que Overeem, e na velocidade existe um equilíbrio. O holandês entra com o favoritismo para essa luta.

Jerome Le Banner: é considerado o rei sem a coroa. Faz parte da história do K-1, já bateu na trave duas vezes para ser campeão das finais. Vem conseguindo se manter quase todos os anos nas finais do GP. Já não é o mesmo lutador, perdeu a velocidade e a autoconfiança que tinha antes.
Semmy Schilt: é casado com uma paulista e foi o grande nome do K-1 nos anos de 2005, 2006 e 2007, onde foi tri campeão consecutivo. Jamais um atleta tinha realizado esse feito. Mostrou saber usar sua altura de 2,12m, dificultando todos seus oponentes. No ano passado, Peter Aerts tirou a vaga de Schilt, e existe uma expectativa grande sobre a atuação dele nas finais.
Favoritismo: Banner tem o punch e a força física melhores, mas Schilt tem o chute e os joelhos melhores. Pelo histórico de Semmy Schilt, ele entra como favorito para esse combate.
Errol Zimmerman x Remy Bonjasky
Errol Zimmerman: é um atleta que participou de muitas competição de Muay Thai na Holanda, teve sua maior chance no K-1 GP Amsterdam de 2008, quando foi o grande campeão da noite. Nesse mesmo ano, conseguiu a vaga para as finais do GP. A partir daí, começou a figurar entre os tops do K-1.
Remy Bonjasky: é o atual campeão e tri campeão do K-1 GP. Talvez seja o atleta mais estrategista do K-1, joga sempre no erro do oponente. No ano passado, simulou uma contusão numa indisciplina de Badr Hari para se tornar o campeão.
Favoritismo: os dois atletas têm um jogo parecido, força física, punch, deslocamento... A velocidade de Errol é um pouco melhor, e o chute e a estratégia do Bonjasky são melhores. Bonjasky entra como favorito para essa luta.
