MMASWISSNEWS.COM: Bustamante trains in Rio, fights ‘Moto Serra’

On the last Saturday (9), TATAME visited the gym Brazilian Top Team and met the master Murilo Bustamante, who’s passing two months in Rio de Janeiro to see how things are going on BTT here, as the black belt is focused on expand the team in America. Murilo in using this time to train hard, as he intend to fight MMA this year.

“I want to fight this year and I’m using my travel to Brazil to train hard and get on the rhythm”, said the black belt, who made the sparring train with Vitor Pimenta, team’s promises to 2010. “There’s some guys ready to rock as Vitor and Kevin who will fight in the end of the month in Paraíba”, Murilo revealed. According to InTheGuard, Murilo is set to face Danilo “Moto Serra” under boxing rules on February 27.

Vitor Pimenta comes from defeat to André Chatuba, in a fight that cost him almost a year standing still, because of an injury on the knee. When he was right to be back on fighting, Vitor suffered one more injury on the rib. The black belt proved that the bad times are behind and trained hard with Murilo and Raphael “Macuco”, doing two sparrings without a break to rest. Pimenta hasn’t a chosen opponent yet on Nitro FC, that happens on January 30 in João Pessoa, Paraíba, but guaranteed that whoever the opponent is, will be on top.

“I was standing still for long time, almost for all 2009… Injuries come and go, when you’re like that is complicated. I was going to fight on Platinum against Amilcar and hurt the rib. Now I recovered and I’m training Boxe, preparing to go fight there in Paraíba. I’m Jiu-Jitsu’s Black belt and I’m training a lot of Boxe with the guys from Nobre Arte, Cláudio Coelho, my private teacher Giovanni and Sérgio Roberto, I’ve been doing the preparation with Ítallo Vilardo and the ground here in BTT, with Murilo, Babú, Eraldo, and Wrestling is with Antoine”, said Vitor.

Were also on the training Janaílson Kevin, who fights against Rodrigo Anaconda on Nitro FC, Raphael “Macuco”, Brasília, Who Will debut on MMA on the next Rio FC, and almost all BTT trainers. Other presence on the sunny Saturday was Pedro Rizzo, Who appeared Just to see his friends. Talking to TATAME, the former UFC fighter said that he’s studying proposals before to announce his next fight.

Murilo Bustamante treina forte no Rio

No último sábado (9), a TATAME fez uma visita à academia Brazilian Top Team e deu de cara com o mestre Murilo Bustamante, que está passando uma temporada de dois meses no Rio de Janeiro para ver como andam as coisas na BTT daqui, já que o faixa-preta está focado no processo de expansão da equipe na América. Murilo está aproveitando essa temporada para treinar forte, já que pretende lutar MMA esse ano, como confidenciou.

“Estou a fim de lutar esse ano e estou aproveitando minha vinda para o Brasil para treinar forte e entrar no ritmo”, comentou o faixa-preta, que fez treino de sparring com Vitor Pimenta, promessa da equipe para 2010. “Tem uma garotada que está pronta para arrebentar como o Vitor e o Kevin que vão lutar no final do mês na Paraíba”, revelou Murilo.

Vitor Pimenta vem de derrota para André Chatuba, em luta que lhe custou quase um ano parado, devido a uma contusão no joelho. Quando estava certo de voltar a lutar, Vitor sofreu mais uma contusão, dessa vez na costela. O faixa-preta provou que a maré ruim ficou para trás e treinou duro com Murilo e Raphael “Macuco”, alternando os dois sparrings sem intervalo para descanso. Pimenta ainda não tem adversário definido no Nitro FC, que acontece dia 30 de janeiro em João Pessoa, na Paraíba, mas garantiu que independente de quem for o oponente, vai estar na ponta dos cascos.

“Fiquei muito tempo parado, quase o ano de 2009 inteiro... Vai e volta lesão, quando você para assim é complicado. Eu ia lutar no Platinum contra o Amilcar e machuquei a costela. Agora me recuperei e venho treinando Boxe, me preparando para lutar lá na Paraíba. Sou faixa-preta de Jiu-Jitsu e venho treinando muito Boxe com o pessoal da Nobre Arte, o Cláudio Coelho, com meu professor particular Giovanni e o Sérgio Roberto, venho fazendo a preparação com o Ítallo Vilardo e o chão aqui na BTT, com o Murilo, o Babú, Eraldo, e o Wrestling está por conta de Antoine”, comentou o bem-assessorado Vitor.

Também estavam presentes no treino o paraibano Janaílson Kevin, que luta contra Rodrigo Anaconda no Nitro FC, Raphael “Macuco”, Brasília, que vai estrear no MMA no próximo Rio FC, além de quase todos os treinadores da BTT. Outra presença ilustre no ensolarado sábado foi Pedro Rizzo, que apareceu apenas para rever os amigos. Em conversa com a TATAME, o ex-lutador do UFC disse que está estudando propostas antes de anunciar sua próxima luta.
