Girls in the finals of World Pro in Abu Dhabi

The second day of World Pro of Abu Dhabi has started and so did the tension. A few moments ago, the women went into action on the mat on UAE to set the finalists of the weights, and were a real show of fighting with the Brazilians leading the squad. On the fight for the title, Bia and Luanna will have a rematch after the brown-belt has won for a 2x0 score on the trial’s finale.

Trial’s champions will face each other in Abu Dhabi

Between the heaviest girls, the trial’s champions Luzia Fernandes and Gabrielle Garcia will fight the final above 63kg. On one side, Luzia passed her first opponent with a submission, before beating Rosângela “Zanza” Conceição on the vantages, by 2x1, after the combat with a 2x2 score. On the other key, Gabi fought the current champ Lana Stefanac up front and won by 4x0 on the vantages. The last spot in the final came with a submission.

Meninas definem as finais do Mundial Pro

O segundo dia do Mundial Profissional de Abu Dhabi começou quente. Há poucos instantes, as mulheres entraram em ação no tatame dos Emirados Árabes para definir as finalistas dos pesos, e foi um verdadeiro show de lutas com domínio brasileiro. O dia em Abu Dhabi está tão especial que mereceu duas curiosidades bastante raras: “o Sheik Mohamad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan está no evento. E diferente do ano passado, ele está na beira do tatame. O inusitado também aconteceu em Abu Dhabi. Choveu aqui, mas nada que atrapalhe o evento, que por sinal está bem cheio”, contou Eduardo Ferreira, editor da TATAME que está nos Emirados.

O reencontro de Bia e Luanna até 63kg

Atual campeã mundial e do ADCC, Luanna Alzuguir finalizou sua primeira adversária com um estrangulamento da meia guarda e, em seguida, passou fácil por uma faixa-branca, finalizando com um arm-lock. A vaga na grande final veio com uma vitória sobre a brasileira Juliana, por pontos. Do outro lado, a faixa-marrom Bia Mesquita venceu sua primeira luta por 2x0. Em seguida, despachou uma faixa-azul sem muita dificuldade com um estrangulamento da guarda, antes de finalizar Hillary Willians com um estrangulamento pelas costas, após abrir 10x0 no placar. Na luta pelo título, Bia e Luanna reeditarão a final da seletiva, quando a faixa-marrom venceu por 2x0.

Campeãs das seletivas se encaram em Abu Dhabi

Entre as meninas mais pesadas, as campeãs das seletivas brasileiras Luzia Fernandes e Gabriele Garcia farão a final acima de 63kg. De um lado, Luzia passou pela primeira adversária com uma finalização, antes de eliminar Rosângela “Zanza” Conceição nas vantagens, por 2x1, após o empate em 2x2 no placar. Na outra chave, Gabi pegou a atual campeã mundial Lana Stefanac logo de cara, vencendo por 4x0 nas vantagens. A vaga na final veio com uma finalização.
