A última quinta-feira (13) pode se tornar um dia histórico para as artes marciais. Com o projeto de lei 2.941/10, do deputado Edino Fonseca (PR), o Jiu-Jitsu pode se tornar Patrimônio Cultural Imaterial do estado. O autor do projeto defende que o mérito da criação e do desenvolvimento do esporte pertencem à família Gracie, que foram os precursores e os criadores do "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu".

The last Thursday (13) may become a historic day for the martial arts. With the Bill 2.941/10 Mr Edino Fonseca (PR), Jiu-Jitsu can become the Intangible Cultural Heritage status. The author of the bill argued that the merits of establishing and developing the sport belong to the Gracie family, who were the forerunners and creators of "Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu."
