With a card filled with big stars, Impact FC promises a great show for the weekend, and the expectations are for many Brazilian wins. Paulão Filho, Murilo Bustamante, Pedro Rizzo… Brazil will be represented by former champions of UFC, WEC and legends of the sport, who promises a great show in Australia, and TATAME talked with the great Brazilian fighters who will be on it.

On the main event of the evening, Pedro Rizzo faces the experienced Ken Shamrock, and bets on his bang, with a sharp game on the low kicks, for the combat. “Just like in all my fights, I start standing. I believe that’s my strong point. I’ll do this fight just like it presents itself to me. He has good takedowns, so I believe the way to beat him is while standing”, analyzed the heavyweight.

Being the first Brazilian to become a middleweight champion on UFC, Murilo Bustamante will come back for the rings after almost three years away and he will face Jesse Taylor. “I’m glad to be back to the rings. I’m well trained, I’m in a good shape and I believe things will work out just fine… I’m trying to reach where I want”, said, with his eyes on the big events.

Pride stars promise to shine on Impact FC

Former champion on the middleweight division of WEC, Paulão Filho faces Denis Kang, a fight which was supposed to happen on the finale of Pride Bushido’s GP. “You’ll see me going forwards… If he give me some space, I’ll bang him, but if he goes for the ground game, I’ll make him look like a doll”, analyzes the black-belt, predicting a win on the ground. “Denis has a good and strong punch, but I feel like I’m too much for him to beat. He and his team knows that”, guarantees.

Another athlete who shone on Pride, Murilo Ninja won his three last fights and wants to confirm his good phase against Jeremy May. “I’m fighting in many events and I want to debut in Australia with my right feet… He like more the ground game and I’m prepared to keep him standing”, tells the Brazilian, dreaming about UFC. “First I have to worry about my fight and then I’ll think about Ultimate. I’ll leave it to my manager to deal with”.

On that same night, Glover Teixeira and Daniel Acácio will get into action to try to make their names on the international market. Pride’s former fighter, Acácio faces the really tough Paul Daley, who will do his first fight after being fired from UFC, while Glover will have a duel with Marko Peseli. Seleção brasileira pronta para o Impact FC 2

Com um card recheado de grandes estrelas, o Impact FC promete um grande show para o próximo final de semana, e a expectativa é de muitas vitórias tupiniquins. Paulão Filho, Murilo Bustamante, Pedro Rizzo... O Brasil será representado por ex-campeões do UFC, WEC e lendas do esporte, que prometem um grande show na Austrália, e a TATAME conversou com os grandes representantes tupiniquins.

Na luta principal da noite, Pedro Rizzo encara o experiente Ken Shamrock, e aposta na sua trocação, com o afiado jogo de low kicks, para o combate. “Como as lutas que eu sempre fiz, eu começo em pé. Eu acho que sou melhor do que ele em pé. Vou fazer a luta de acordo como ela vai se conduzir. Ele tem uma parte de quedas boas também, então eu acho que o caminho é bater em pé”, analisa o peso pesado.

Primeiro brasileiro a se tornar campeão peso médio no UFC, Murilo Bustamante voltará aos ringues após quase três anos afastado contra Jesse Taylor. “Estou feliz de voltar aos ringues. Estou treinando para caramba, estou em uma forma boa, e acho que vai dar tudo certo... Estou tentando chegar aonde eu quero”, disse, de olho nos grandes eventos. “Como eu não luto há muito tempo, a minha performance nessa luta vai ser fundamental. Essa luta vai ser importante para mim”, disse.

Estrelas do Pride abrilhantam o Impact FC

Ex-campeão peso médio do WEC, Paulão Filho encara Denis Kang, luta que era para ter acontecido na final do GP do Pride Bushido. “Vai ser um Paulão partindo para cima dele... Se bobear caio na mão, mas se for pro chão ele vai virar um boneco”, analisa o faixa-preta, prevendo uma vitória no chão. “O Denis é aquele cara, tem o direto forte, mas sinto que sou muita areia pro caminhão dele. E ele e a equipe dele sabem disso”, garante.

Outro grande nome do Pride, Murilo Ninja venceu suas últimas três lutas e quer confirmar a boa fase contra Jeremy May. “Estou lutando em vários eventos e quero estrear na Austrália com o pé direito... Ele luta mais no chão e estou me preparando para manter a luta em pé”, conta o curitibano, sonhando com o UFC. “Primeiro tenho que pensar nas minhas lutas para depois pensar no Ultimate. Essa parte eu vou deixar nas mãos do meu empresário”.

Na mesma noite, Glover Teixeira e Daniel Acácio entram em ação em busca de um lugar ao sol no mercado internacional. Ex-lutador do Pride, Acácio encara o duríssimo Paul Daley, que luta pela primeira vez desde a demissão do UFC, enquanto Glover duela com Marko Peseli. Outro veterano do extinto Pride que luta no card é o gigante Bob Sapp, escalado para bater de frente com Soa Palelei.
