European CBJJE: Poles show the power
It happened yesterday the second and final day of competition of the European Jiu-Jitsu of CBJJE in Morges, Switzerland. If on the black belt athletes from various parts of Europe have shown the value, having overcome many Brazilians in the colored bands (blue, purple and brown) the Yankees have won several victories in the modern school gym Beausobre. Highlight for the fighters from Poland, who returned home with many medals, especially the blue belt Piotr Podstawczuk, which drew applause from all.

Aconteceu ontem o segundo e último dia de disputas do Europeu de Jiu-Jitsu da CBJJE, em Morges, na Suíça. Se no dia dos faixas-pretas atletas de várias partes da Europa já mostraram o valor, tendo superado muitos brasileiros, no dos faixas coloridas (azul, roxa e marrom) os gringos conquistaram diversas vitórias no moderno ginásio da escola Beausobre. Destaque para os lutadores da Polônia, que voltaram para casa com muitas medalhas, em especial o faixa-azul Piotr Podstawczuk, que arrancou aplausos de todos.

Depois bateu mais três adversários para ser o melhor no absoluto. No peso pluma, Jordy Peute (Gracie Barra) usou o armlock para finalizar dois adversários. Na final, bateu o brasileiro Eduardo Gonsalves. No leve garantiu o ouro o polonês Grzegorz Kloc (Berserker´s). Depois de finalizar a primeira com um triângulo, derrotou na final Iuri Cupertino (Gracie Humaitá) por pontos. No médio Maciej Kowalski (Drysdale) ficou com o ouro.
Na faixa-roxa, o aluno de Roger Gracie Pablo Cabo fez quatro combates para faturar o peso pena. Mas o principal destaque na graduação foi Oliver Geddes, também pupilo de Roger, que venceu peso e absoluto. Outros que se destacaram na graduação foram Nelson Carvalho (Gracie Floripa) e Ryan Soosanazad (Pedro Bessa / Zé Marcelo Team). O primeiro foi o melhor no médio, enquanto o segundo finalizou com dois triângulos no pesado.
Na faixa-azul houve boas disputas. No pluma e absoluto roubou a cena uma grande promessa da Polônia. Com o corte de cabelo moicano que a delegação adotou, Piotr Podstawczuk (Berserker´s) bateu dois adversários na categoria, tendo finalizado na finalíssima Fernando Braga, dono de uma ótima guarda, com um armlock. No absoluto, todos passaram a observá-lo depois que derrotou quatro oponentes. Na decisão, perdeu para o companheiro de equipe Maciej Kazuszenisk, mas foi o grande destaque.
Também na faixa-azul, o gaúcho radicado na Suíça Willian Pedroti (Kimura / Nova União) passou o carro em todo mundo no pesado. Entre as meninas o destaque mais uma vez foi da Polônia. Irena Preiss impressionou e garantiu o ouro no peso e absoluto. No máster roxa o francês Tho Vu (Kimura / Niva União)venceu no peso leve. No azul máster, suíço que treinou bastante tempo.
