One of the best UFC light-heavyweight contenders, Thiago Silva impressed against Keith Jardine, and wants to keep the rhythm. Scheduled to fight the former champion Rashad Evans at UFC 108, the Brazilian spoke with TATAME.com and sharedhis expectations for the fight.
“Everybody knows thay I’m an aggressive fighter, but I realized that we have to be aggressive, but smart too. I’ll study his game and find the easiest way to get the victory and I’ll be done”, Silva guarantees, talking about his trainings with Luis Cane, Kimbo Slice and Denis Kang, his nexts fights in the UFC and the controversial Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio Shogun title fight. Um dos maiores meio-pesados do UFC, Thiago Silva vem de impressionante vitória sobre Keith Jardine, e já está treinando pesado de olho em Rashad Evans, ex-campeáo da categoria. Num intervalo entre os treinos, Thiago conversou com a TATAME sobre a expectativa para o combate, que acontece no dia 2 de janeiro (UFC 108).
“Todos sabem que eu sou um cara agressivo, mas também chega um certo ponto que a gente tem que ser agressivo, mas inteligente. Vou estudar o jogo dele aqui e o caminho mais fácil que eu achar para chegar a uma vitória é o que vai ser feito”, garante o brasileiro, que ainda falou sobre os treinos movimentados na American Top Team, com Kimbo Slice, Banha e Denis Kang, as próximas lutas dos companheiros de treino e o duelo entre Lyoto Machida e Maurício Shogun.
