O peso pesado Todd Duffee está fora do UFC 107. Lesionado, o americano não enfrentará o compatriota Paul Buentello, e também está de casa nova. Quem revela é o site Fighters Only Magazine, que confirmou os rumores com um representante da American Top Team.

“Todd foi aceito numa universidade em Nevada e teve que se mudar para lá, e ele obviamente precisava treinar, então não era prático que ele continuasse na ATT. Não teve nenhum problema com ele, desejamos o melhor para ele no seu futuro”, disse o representante da ATT.

O peso pesado, que ficou conhecido no Brasil como o sparring de Antônio Pezão que atropelou Assuério Silva no Jungle Fight, estreou com o pé direito no UFC, anotando o nocaute mais rápido da história do evento, em apenas sete segundos (assista abaixo). Com a lesão, o seu retorno ao evento só acontecerá em 2010.

The heavyweight, who was known in Brazil as the sparring of Antonio Bigfoot Silva Assuério that ran over at Jungle Fight, debuted on the right foot in the UFC, noting the fastest knockout in the history of the event in just seven seconds (watch below). With the injury, his return to the event will only happen in 2010.
