On his Twitter, Fábio Gurgel, who has watched the World Pro’s fight, send his congratulations to Gabrielle Garcia, Abu Dhabi champion. “Your results are the fruits of your effort and dedication. Nothing comes easily, but everything can come”, wrote the Alliance’s general.
And this was the champion’s feelings, when she beat Luzia Fernandes on the grand finale. “It’s all consequence from my work. Fábio has been doing a good tactical and psychological work, making us better athletes and human beings. I’m really happy, I trained a lot”, cheers Gabi, who got her revenge against Luzia.
“One of the things I’ve learned in Alliance is that the fight only ends when the time’s up, and when I took the fall, it was like an encouragement for me. I chased the score with all the audience in my favor, for the first time in my life, it’s priceless”, celebrates the Alliance’s athlete, who makes plans for the extra money.
“This money is helping me on my trainings for the World and to pay my bills, because a fighter’s life ain’t easy”, said Gabi, keeping her feet on the ground. “When we are not in our best is when we practice more, but Alliance and Fábio don’t let us to chill for a little bit. I wouldn’t like to get there as the favorite, but I’ll go for the weight and absolute, that is what I want”, finished the champion.

Gabi e as lições da academia para o deserto

Em seu Twitter, Fábio Gurgel, que acompanhou as lutas do Mundial Profissional, mandou seu parabéns para Gabrielle Garcia, campeã em Abu Dhabi. “Seus resultados são frutos de seu esforço e dedicação. Nada vem fácil, mas tudo vem”, escreveu o General da Alliance.
E este era o sentimento da campeã, que bateu Luzia Fernandes na grande final. “Isso tudo é consequência do nosso trabalho. O Fábio vem fazendo um bom trabalho técnico e psicológico, nos tornando melhores atletas e seres humanos. Estou muito feliz, treinei muito pra isso”, comemora Gabi, que conseguiu a revanche sobre Luzia.
“Uma das coisas que eu aprendi na Alliance é que a luta só acaba quando termina o tempo, e quando eu levei a queda, isso me serviu de incentivo. Consegui correr atrás do placar, com essa torcida toda a meu favor, pela primeira vez na minha vida, isso não tem preço pra mim hoje”, comemora a atleta da Alliance, que faz planos par a grana extra.
“Esse dinheiro vai ajudar no treinamento para o Mundial e para pagar as contas, porque vida de lutadora é complicada”, disse Gabi, mantendo os pés no chão. “Quando a gente está em baixa é que treina mais, mas na Alliance o Fábio não deixa a gente dar aquela afrouxada. Eu não gostaria de entrar como favorita, mas vou em busca do peso e absoluto, que é o que eu quero”, finalizou a campeã.
