Besides UFC 114, the weekend in Las Vegas has great Grappling fights to heat up the audience present on UFC Fan Expo, and there was a Brazilian winning there. WEC’s athlete, Frédson Paixão faced the experienced Caol Uno, and made a great show. After starting a fight with a 4x2 score, the Brazilian tried to fit an omoplata on the Japanese, but he managed to defend himself, but got stuck with a tight armbar and tapped out. Takanori Gomi, one of the biggest stars of Japanese MMA also was submitted on the event. Facing Shane Roller, other tough guy from WEC, Gomi tapped out on a tight rear naked choke.

Além do UFC 114, o final de semana em Las Vegas contou com super lutas de Grappling para agitar o público na UFC Fan Expo, e teve brasileiro vencendo. Atleta do WEC, Frédson Paixão enfrentou o experiente Caol Uno, e deu show. Após abrir 4x2 no placar, o brasileiro encaixou uma omoplata no japonês, que conseguiu defender, mas se viu preso num justo arm-lock e deu os três tapinhas. Takanori Gomi, uma das maiores estrelas do MMA japonês, também foi finalizado no evento. Diante de Shane Roller, outro casca-grossa do WEC, Gomi bateu num justo mata-leão.
