One year without Master Helio Gracie

One year ago, the father of the mixed martial arts, Helio Gracie, passed away at 95, leaving a great legacy behind him, controlled now by his sons and grandsons, besides thousands of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes around the world. Check below a tribute to the grand master.

Há exatamente um ano, fãs e praticantes de artes marciais ficaram de luto com a morte de Helio Gracie. Patriarca do Jiu-Jitsu, o grande mestre faleceu na manhã do dia 29 de janeiro de 2009, aos 95 anos, deixando um legado que toma continuidade através dos membros da família Gracie e das centenas de milhares de praticantes de Jiu-Jitsu ao redor do mundo. Como homenagem, relembramos o dia em que o Gracie completou 95 anos.
