Ceconi fights until the end and make it worth

Alexandre Ceconi reached the top and won the World Pro title and leaves Abu Dhabi with his pocket full. On the grand finale, against the world champion Rômulo Barral, the black belt did a spetacular recovery. After being loosing by two point, Ceconi passed Barral’s guard with only 10 seconds left and got the title (3x2).

“There’s no secret, my Jiu-Jitsu is getting better now and one good thing is that I’ve always has a lot of disposal and I believe in God... While the fight is not over, I’ll do my best”, said Ceconi after a victory, celebrating his triumph.

Alexandre regrets the fight on the absolute for the vice champ, Bráulio Estima. “Unfortunately I didn’t do it, but I’m getting there. I should have believed more, but I need to know that there’s a level of fighters above mine. I have to train enough to beat them”, finished the humble tough guy, who will flight to Miami, where will prepares himself to world of California.

Alexandre Ceconi conseguiu o sonhado título no Mundial Profissional e deixa Abu Dhabi com o bolso mais cheio. Na grande final, contra o campeão mundial Rômulo Barral, o faixa-preta conseguiu uma recuperação espetacular. Após estar perdendo por 2x0, Ceconi passou a guarda de Barral a 10 segundos do fim e ficou com o título (3x2).

“Acho que não tem segredo, meu Jiu-Jitsu está começando a melhorar agora e uma característica minha é que sempre tive muita disposição e acredito muito no meu Deus... Enquanto a luta não acabar eu vou dar o melhor de mim”, disse Ceconi após a vitória, comemorando o triunfo.

Mas Alexandre lamenta a derrota no absoluto para o vice-campeão, Bráulio Estima. “Infelizmente não consegui, mas estou evoluindo. Devia ter acreditado mais, mas preciso saber que existe gente com um nível acima do meu. Tenho que treinar para poder bater de frente com eles”, finalizou o humilde casca-grossa, que embarca para Miami, onde se prepara para o Mundial da Califórnia.
